Interchange Research Ltd is committed to safeguarding all personal information obtained during the course of our interactions with you in accordance with data protection law of the United Kingdom.

Our interactions  with you are mostly via email, virtual meetings, or in-person meetings. In addition, we conduct quantitative and qualitative research in accordance with ethical and GDPR requirements.  All participants in our research receive an information sheet clearly describing what the research is for, which data are obtained, how we will store and safeguard data, and how long we will retain data. Typically, only anonymised data are retained. Research participants are free to consent, withhold or withdraw consent.

Data that we collect in the course of any interactions and in the course of research are stored in secure, password protected, encrypted services. When our research is commissioned by a third party, we are typically joint controllers of the data with that third party. This is clearly stated on information sheets, as are the privacy policies of the third party. When we collaborate with third parties, we ensure that their privacy policies are compliant with UK data protection law. When using UK based or international third party services for data analysis, we ensure that only anonymised data are transferred.
